Sam’s Advanced Declarer Play

Thursday Mornings, 9:30 am to 11:30 am
6 week series, January 25 to March 7
No class on February 29

This series of classes is designed for the student who wants to learn more about declarer play. Learn how to count losers. Decide when to draw trumps and when to delay drawing trumps. For intermediate to advancing players.

Polishing Your Basics

Monday Mornings, 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
February 26th through April 15th
No class on March 18 and April 1

This class will cover bidding topics including: choosing your opening bid, stopping low with minimum hands, help suit game tries, and improving your limit raises. For Intermediate.

Planning to Win 2

Tuesday Mornings, 9:30 am to 11:30 am
February 20th through April 2nd
No class on March 19

This class will cover bidding and play topics including: Trumping in Dummy, Discarding Losers, Finesses, Holds Up and Safety Plays. For intermediate players.

Deadly Defense

Wednesday Afternoons, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
February 21st to March 27th

Learn about opening leads, Second Hand Low and Third Hand High. When to use these guidelines and when to ignore them. We will also introduce attitude signals. For advanced beginners.

Advanced NT Play

This series of classes is designed for the student who wants to learn more about declarer play. Learn how to count winners. What suits to work on, safety plays. For intermediate to advanced students.

Beginner Bridge 2 taught by Rich Overholt

Sunday Afternoons, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

This class is the second part of Beginning Bridge. It is a good class for social bridge players who want to improve their game. We will focus on responder and opener’s bids of NT. Other topics covered include Weak 2 Bids, Strong 2 Clubs, 3 level preempts and Takeout Double.
